This page explains the information Launchboard processes to operate listings and payments.
Information you submit
Before checkout, we process only the website URL or X handle, optional short description, category, and bid amount you provide. For People, we retrieve the public profile name and avatar from X. The destination, description, category, rank, and bid may be displayed publicly.
Payments
DodoPayments collects and processes the information needed to complete checkout. Launchboard receives payment identifiers, status, amount, limited customer details, and related webhook events needed to fulfill or reverse a placement. We do not store full card details.
Traffic data
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and may record basic request and click information to operate the service, reduce abuse, and publish click counts. A public live activity feed displays a listing’s public name and category when it is published, and its public name when someone follows its tracked link; it does not identify the visitor, and transport records older than 24 hours are pruned as new activity arrives. For completed payments and refunds, we send ecommerce fields such as the payment ID, Dodo customer ID, claim category, rank, amount, currency, and tax. We do not send Google the checkout email, phone number, card details, website URL, X handle, or listing display name. Google may also process device, browser, approximate location, and interaction data under its own privacy terms. Counts may be filtered for obvious bots or duplicate activity.
Retention and requests
Operational and payment records are retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Contact the operator through ShipyardHQ to request access or correction.
